Glad To Be Back!

Glad To Be Back!

Assalamu Alaikum!!!!!!!!!

Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Rahim

It feels so good to come out of “hiding”.  As most of you know I was pregnant for the past 9 months, lol…a normal length of time, and then Alhamdulillah, I gave birth to the most precious gift that God could grant me.

Talal Hassan Tahat

January 5th, 2012  7 lbs 10 oz.  20.4 inches

AlHamdulillah, he is the sweetest joy and the coolness of our eyes.

Talal is now five weeks old and growing like the weeds in my front yard! I have been so busy of course, attending to his every need and desire and believe me, he has learned how to work over Mommy and Daddy!  He’s a cheerful sprout in the mornings, right around 4 am he expects Mommy to play with him!  We are over joyed with this bundle of snuggles and now that I feel more confident in my “Mommy skills”…I am ready to get back to work!

I am super excited to share with you my first event since the changes in my life!

  1. Hi Nicole,
    Assalamu Alaikum.
Was wondering what could have happened to you for being silent for such a long long time.Any Alhamdu Lillah we are happy that you were blessed with a baby boy.I would like to hear reports of your progress after coming into IslamIs it correct if I say that the greatest benefit a girl received after coming into Islam was that she got dignity and self respect and that she is held ih high esteem, which unfortunately the so called LIBERATION did not give
    Kind Regards / Nihar

  4. What sort of blasphemy is this sister?
How could you be pregnant for nine months? See the words of Allah.

Quran 2:233 Mothers may breastfeed their children two complete years for whoever wishes to complete the nursing [period]. Upon the father is the mothers’ provision and their clothing according to what is acceptable. No person is charged with more than his capacity. No mother should be harmed through her child, and no father through his child. And upon the [father’s] heir is [a duty] like that [of the father]. And if they both desire weaning through mutual consent from both of them and consultation, there is no blame upon either of them. And if you wish to have your children nursed by a substitute, there is no blame upon you as long as you give payment according to what is acceptable. And fear Allah and know that Allah is Seeing of what you do.

Quran 46:15 And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning [period] is thirty months. [He grows] until, when he reaches maturity and reaches [the age of] forty years, he says, “My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims.”

Duration of breastfeeding is two years or twenty four months. Duration of breastfeeding and gestation is thirty months. From this one could deduce that the period of gestation is six months. It is not nine months.

    1. I apologize I believe I must have missed this before. It seems Brother that you may not have any children and do not understand child birth. The natural time of a pregnancy is 9 months. If someone had a baby after carrying the child in her womb for only 6 months there would be a very large percentage that the child would not survive because the lungs are still not fully developed to breath and sustain life after only 6 months gestation. If a child was born after only 6 months the child would either die immediately or cling to life on a life support system in the hospital and would only weight about 2-3 lbs. If you have the ability to have a computer this means you have the internet and the ability to research and it is shocking to me that you do not understand the gestation period of children, so my only conclusion is that you may not understand English very well and possibly you misunderstood everything all together. I hope this is the case.
